I didn’t have a chance to finish it as a guy felt in love with it and just had to have the bike.
I didn't want to sell but after two hours of “please sell me the bike” it was his...

That’s the best thing you can do with STs as they are all ready to be modded at cheap prices. I’ve had a few dukes and the st4 being one. The only reason I didn’t modify it was because we get penalised here with insurance.
Yet again you’ve built a stonker and it’s my style. I like it!

I think is one of the best bases you can find for modifying,

its not a st 4 as they where water cooled 4 valve motors could be a st 2 or st 3

I met a Canadian guy and his wife while touring Spain, he was riding one.. for the life of me I can't remember the miles and time spent touring but it was very impressive!

The funny thing with the ST is that they are wolf in sheep's clothing, they are just great at twisty roads, I use to hunt a lot of modern RR bikes at the local mountain roads with a old V2....

It's hard to beat a V-twins grunt for real road riding! The power is right where you need it to catapult you out of corners. I love them
