Sounds like a good plan to me. They should deport them straight away and they can serve their sentence in their home country, saving the UK tax payer (us) a fortune...

I would classify those who illegally enter Britain as criminals together with their lawyers. They can all sod off.

It’s a good idea as I’m sure these criminals see the UK as a soft touch, helped by those activist lawyers.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some celebs and do gooders weren’t against this proposal, crying racist and it’s against the criminals basic human rights blah blah blah

Yep likely to see some against this. For me it is about time we started to get tough with these scumbags. Perhaps being out of the EU we can make our own minds up who should be in our country.

Noticed a bbc fake news story regarding Dover transport congestion. They used a photo of parked lorries taken In September to illustrate their point, whilst “informing”us that this was current news.Elsewhere on their website another reporter told us that all was good .
The bbc news still has a serious problem with the way they report any Brexit related story.

Come off it Tom, I’m seriously worried about continuity of supply of Percy Pigs.

You’ve lost the vote several times and yet you’re still chipping, aren’t you?so totally naive as not to understand that the game is over!
Bitter and twisted hardly begins to describe you.

Leaving or staying wasnt like voting for your favourite colour. Its not over its never going to be over. Its an ongoing thing. We could be left behind or come out in front. that might last for 5 years or 10. Its only just begun.

Isnt that the one thing we CAN agree on, leave, or stay.

The future will be what it is, but we can only guess at that and certainly won’t agree as the conspiracy camp insist everything will be rosy and the more streetwise camp (;)) will have a more nuanced view.

But surely we can all agree that an inability to obtain Percy Pigs, here and now (or indeed in Northern Ireland) is a big indictment of the new trade agreement :(.

I just realize that almost every store i ordered parts from is located in the UK, all from Triumph genuine parts to tools, tires and helmets. And after Brexit there really isn't any point since everyting has 25% + customs fees added on top of the price.
Sure I can order from Germany I there isn't that much to choose from.

Makes me realize that UK online shops must have lost quite a lot of business now in the beginning of the year.

Can only hope Sweden will sort out some trade deal...or that shops such as demon-tweeks start a EU shop.

Wow 25% + seems really high mate. What are these additional charges related to?

My experience is...UK based shops are more expensive after brexit....first they want hardcore rates for s&h..and most parts have roundabout 10 to 20% higher prices. I asked why...answer was...its the EU VAT..actuell we have no extra taxes between EU and UK...the shops want to got a extra money from stupid EU-citizen:cool:.
And...normally I have to pay taxes ore VAT here to DHL...not to the dealer.

The 25% is Swedish VAT, only exception is if its shipped from NI, then its still considered to be from a "EU" country.
But, its not as simple to say everything gets 25% added on top (and this is charged from the Swedish customs).
If I import a motorcycle from the UK and buy it from a dealer, I can still deduct the UK VAT and then add the Swedish one. Since its not that much of a difference (UK VAT is 20% on Motorcycles and Swedes pay 25%) its not that much of a difference.
It's trickier to buy it from a private person tho.
