Who’s Planning To Be Out Riding Over Xmas

I always plan to be, not this year by the looks of it. Managed a good ride today luckily enough but I just got pinged. have to isolate now until the 25th. We are going into a six week lockdown from boxing day

 

My Bonneville and two Hondas are lined up in the garage, tyres checked and Optimates humming, waiting for a dryish day. I took the CBR NC29 out last week. I froze and the bike got filthy but it was worth it.

 

I will definitely be out as long as no salt down...

 

Nope, not me, I’ll be keeping an eye on the sprouts, they’re bubbling away nicely at the moment.







Actually, the sensible answer is cos the bikes on SORN.
Yet another reason to put the stupid VED on fuel. It’s a bleedin emissions tax anyway and if it’s not using fuel it’s not putting out emissions, so why would I have to pay for the previous 24 days just to go out on xmas day.

 

Weather is actually sunny at the moment with blue skies making a rideout tempting.
However, it's rained so much recently, including a hailstorm last night, that many of the local roads are flooded in places.
Both bikes have just been cleaned - the poor old Tiger has been used almost everyday for work the last two weeks and was caked in sh*t. Not sure I can be arsed to get it dirty and wash it again!

 

I know how you are feeling, I was like that the other day, but just said feck it and went. My tiger is filthy at the moment and in need of a clean

If the weather plays ball, I'd certainly like to get out on two wheels for an hour or two, probably on Boxing day.

 

Used to do the plum pudding at mallory on boxing day but not sure if it's still happening??
A possible ride out...

 

Used to go there myself on bike with my brother in law.

Both car and bike races at the same meeting,a good day out so long as you could get warm after the 90 mile approx ride there

 

Just checked Mallory Parks website and the event has been cancelled,,,hardly surprising really.

Not that I would have been going this year

Just got back from a run into Wiltshire - not too bad considering the state of the roads

 

Only home from now until the 27th ...so if the weather is good I'll be out.

 

I’m off out again today. Bike needs cleaned so just as well get a ride in before getting the hose out

My little bro will be visiting so we plan on him taking out Bonnie and Mrs. JtC and I will be on Clyde the Goldwing -for a local day cruise.

 

Too much salt down so i went for a ride on the board instead.

 

Almost....
10 degs c, roads a bit wet, bike gear selected and took bike outside and started to bloody rain.
Reverse the above and now watching netflix stuff.
