Yes, it snows here... so, only about 7 months on the road!
After many years of different bikes (off-road, adventure) I'm back to a "naked" T120 Bud Ekins - I traded my Honda Africa Twin. Still running my Honda Varadero with 100k kms.
Loving the bike and if you use the gears the 80HP can be used... something that Harley riders still haven't caught onto yet!
What an easy bike to ride! As you can see in the photo I'm getting on a bit and this bike sure calms me down!
Already looking at various mods and farkles: LED H4 headlight, driving lights (recycled from other bikes), GPS, Rad Cover, etc. Do I need to "improve" the sound? It is a bit on the quiet side!

Thanks, my son took it when I pulled into his place after riding it home from Vancouver (1500km each way). He lives about "half-way" so always a good place to stop over.

Also, thanks to you all for the "welcome" and please be gentle as I find my way around this forum :worried:

FWIW I moved to Canada in 1992 from UK and did lots of riding there (Newcastle & East Coast)

Welcome to the family. Great picture and terrific bike and intro. The inmates here in the asylum do like great pictures and pretty bikes.

    Thanks...
Whilst grazing in the various fields in the forum I saw a page for "Non-Triumph Bikes" that you've owned" as well as the Gallery - There sure are some "pretty" bikes out there - Seems you do like lots of Pics!
Maybe, I'll put together a photo history of my bikes???
Seems this forum is as much about "chatting" as well as pure technical stuff

Welcome to the forum, @Steve T., and thanks for the nice intro and great photo! You've already figured out some of the basics of our forum--"chatting" in addition to technical stuff (or perhaps more accurately phrased as technical stuff as an adjunct to chatting) and a love of photos!

Yes, please do put together a photo history of your bikes for us! As it's winter now where you live, you should have the time to put that visual history together. ;):)

Welcome from another newbie to the forum and new T100 owner. Drooled over the Bud Ekins T120 at the dealership. Your pic is superb.

As noted somewhere, I rode my Africa Twin to Vancouver, BC. I knew I was coming back on a different bike... but which one!
I looked again at BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Guzzi, etc. Then Triumph - mainly the Speed Twin but the ergos were not good for me. I looked at the usual Bonnies, saw the Bud Ekins model and after a test ride - Sold! It just looked different!(despite the Bud Ekins Stickers which are OK, if a little cheesy). Added factory heated grips and grab rail/backrest - not included on this model.

I tried to put some more pics in an album but can't seem to upload pics into it from my PC. They are small format jpg. As you can see in this post the upload works fine.
Can anyone suggest what to do? I tried search but didn't find a "Sticky Note" for this?
