Well Hello to all in this fun filled Forum !!! I am glad to be here. Ok some facts about me. been riding two wheel objects since i was about 10. SO the list is long and Yes i still wished i kept some of the motorcycles. I have just picked up a 2019 Bonnie ACE. a few years back me and the Mrs. got rear ended by a semi wile at a red light in our car. so I had to take a about a two year break from riding with any thing I had to shift, my clutch hand would do things all by its self (not fun things ). well i got that all under control and missed shifting (i was on a Yamaha X-max). I went to go look in the triumph store near me and well saw that Ace and liked it , mind you my first Triumph was a 07 Rocket III . So went home thought about the bike some read up on the t120 and decided ok lets do it. That rocket was a great bike it just ate back tires like a hungry gator eats ducks. after a few nails (thanks house builders in my area) that got real $$$$ fast . So I (like a fool)traded her in and went and got a 2012 Victory Kingpin. good bike but not as much fun as the R3 . then the dam accident happened victory got sold in 2015 . could not stand to see it sit . after a lot of work got the xmax to get back into riding. So here is a old pic of the beast (r3)
357sigman Welcome to the family. You had a few beasts there and no doubt will be back on the rocket as it is in your blood and head. And you know you can't fight the little beast in the head. Here in the asylum we all get like that. And black is one of the favourite colours so your steed will get some admiring looks tonight with the inmates. Joe
Welcome to the forum, sigman! Thanks for the excellent intro to yourself and to your bikes--plus the photos. Glad that you were able to come back and ride again after what sounds like it was a really bad accident. Enjoy your new Bonnie Ace!
