    Hey all

Currently awaiting to collect my brand new 2020 Triumph 765rs in Silver
The bike is at the showroom and I plan on collecting it this coming week
Extras I had fitted were a flyscreen and paddock stand bobbins
I haven't owned a Triumph before and my previous bike was a Yamaha R6 2010.
My previous bike was actually in fact my first ever road bike and I have been off two wheels for a couple of years.
I am more than excited now to collect the bike and get riding again

In the meantime I have already ordered a paddock stand, chain cleaner and a radiator guard. Soon a tail tidy also however I have a few question if you guys could help since there are outstanding parts that I would like to purchase though I am not entirely sure they will fit since I have the latest face lift bike and I know there have been a number of changes

I am looking to get the SC exhaust. Which I know comes in two parts. The header and the muffler
I know there has been work done on the exhaust to the 2020 but would there be changes to dimensions and header bolts over the previous model? Basically would the SC muffle fit the headers or if I was to get a full system would this go on the bike?

    Hey.

The exhaust fitment at the head will be the same on the 2020 as it was on the 17 to 19 models.
I'm not sure about the muffler mounting points are the same on the latest model though.
Although the headers will fit straight on, you might want to find out about how it may effect fuelling on the 2020 model as the pipes may be set up for the previous models mapping.
I am also looking at getting the header pipes at some point to loose the catalytic converter but thinking of sticking with the stock (Arrow) muffler for noise reasons.
I think the full system from SC would be far too loud.

I had mine delivered last Wednesday, first ride out today due to storm force winds and rain. It was a bit damp but the tyres coped admirally considering they were brand new, I can't imagine that I will get much mileage out of them they seem super soft with a bit of heat in them . Speed shifter is not as smooth as the one on my 2017 example which I traded in, but I'm sure it will improve after a bit more use. Enjoy your new bike and send us all some pictures of your adventures.

The Q/S on my 2019 STRS gets quicker and smoother with use. The OEM tyres (Pirelli) were toast after 900 miles so I have fitted Pirelli SuperCorsa SP but will give the Metzeler Roadtec RR K3 a try next.
I have a Scorpion RP1-GP exhaust (with link pipe) without the baffle in which is loud but liveable.

I had Metzeler Sportec m7's on my 2017 ST I used them in February on cold damp roads and they were impressive, the front is 100% silica compound which is very useable in the wet. They are designed for 20% track 80% road use , and give good mileage ,the rear is dual compound. Check them out ,I can't say a bad thing about them , reviews from proper riders are very favourable too.

Collected the bike Wednesday from Watford Triumph U.K - brilliant experience with the dealership on collection felt like a little boy at Christmas and the showroom is impressive

I find the bike even better looking in person and am totally in love with it after a short ride home - all under 5000rpm!

Welcome from the other side of the pond, I hated the break in period as it seems to last forever. But last boring 345 miles I was able to accomplish in 4 hours on the superslab.

Had mine delivered last week. I have yet to get a ride in with this COV19 lockdown here in California. Still happy to at least have her in the garage.

My first Triumph as well and I am really impressed by the fit and finish of the bike. I've already added rear stand spools and installed the evotech radiator guard. Ready to roll!

    Looks lovely
We in the U.K will likely have a lock in told so I plan on getting out on it tomorrow just to get the miles on it.

I am still yet to open it up and done 130miles so far!!

    California,
Wow, that one looks a lot like mine, although I only have the "R" version, similar color and also in California. Hey looks kinda like my garage floor too, lol. You have great taste!!
