    My america is a 2007, so a 865.

There is a guy selling exhaust, listing says for a 2002-2006, which I'm guessing fits the 790 engine. Anyone know if this exhaust will fit my 865 also?

Mine are currently a real short set of silencers, and they are a little louder than I would like.

most stuff for the 690 will fit the 865 , its just the internal engine size after all that differs.

jetting would differ i believe some 865's may have been carburreted in the early transition.

i know seats, handle bars and body work are all the same

Thanks capt. So the 790 and 865 are the same block just bored out. My 2007 is carbed, from what I've read, the 2008's got fuel injection.

I've got 2008 America , Speedmaster and America share 85/90% the same parts and 790/865 are almost identical ! differrences being cc Capacity carb versus EFI, and therefore some electronic components.
A friend had the Speedmaster EFI we shared a "tune" as engine tune was identical (read by tuneecu). I bought his risers and he swapped his bars to America variant, as one has swept back and up (America) and other has flat...
