TRMCC Dice run in founding city Whanganui. Eventful trip down with Auckland and Northland chapter members.
Had to assist shepherding sheep :scream:off the river road around slips :joy: first for most Triumph riders.

Dice run was a blast. Recorded plenty of riding for when I get home.
One of the girls was pulled over in a 30km roadworks area for a warning, :poop: that would have saved some of the others following :scream:. Some snaps at lunch and soft drinks stop :p

Thanks for the ride report and fun photos, @Dartplayer! Looks like you had a good turnout. Is that the typical ride size or are numbers down due to COVID? What's behind the meaning of the ride name, the "Dice Run"?

Your photo of the snowcapped mountain is beautiful! Thanks for taking the time to snap some pics and to post a thread about your adventures. :)

    Thanks Sandi,
Numbers were high due to 10th anniversary :party:and great weather :sun:(will rain all way home on Sunday:cold_sweat:), plus 10th National AGM in Whanganui in Feb 2021. Central location for both islands and founding TRMCC chapter.
With NO COVID-19, out of managed isolation, events are coming back to normal.

Dice run is similar to a poker run, with entrants Rolling die at each destination and winners getting prizes/money for highest score (hand).

Yes, National park is beautiful and very remote.:p

    I've not liked this post.
I ran some shopping over to 'The Mammy' and any damp bit of road kicked the arse end of the car out. I'm hoping to run out to the coast on the bike tomorrow to the Fishmonger but thanks for showing us how the other half live :D

You’ll be happy @ChasChas, as it was torrential rain for 100miles and freezing on the way home :p

:cool:After a fun night of prizes and a hearty meal, they celebrated with a great cake

Next morning it started raining at 4am and was dark.

Wished everyone a safe ride and headed home.;) Only stopped for gas (12l tank) so was a big ride.o_O Butt was complaining :skull:

With the sun coming out at Te Kuiti, We found an oasis, gas station with southern fried chicken and chips to warm us up.
With a beach hop classic car rally :party:the same weekend, there was plenty to see on the road.

Big traffic jam on Auckland motorways, so time home was quicker on the bike

Hotel garage, some had already left.

A bucket-list place to ride a bike. Lovely. When your out with such an assortment of tackle, conversation is never short. Looks like a good do.
