Thought about one of those myself, but as a mech. design engineer the idea of lifting a bike attached on only one side just doesn't feel right. Can't help feeling it's going to be "wobbly". I ended up with an Abba stand, not as versatile.....but secure!
Interesting bit of kit, would I have one? No, spinning that round in an office on the perfect floor is one thing but on average finish garage concrete with the odd unseen screw lying around or anything else dropped on the floor would send the lot into crying territory.

It makes all maintenance very easy. A worthy investment, and if you change bikes, you jsut buy a new adapter kit for £20 to £30
i've got an abba stand, but i saw one of those stands your'e talking about in action at the edinburgh show and i was impressed with it,seems to be really stable..the guy was having a jive with it!
I bought one from Manchester show at the weekend presume it's same as you saw. Company called 1jac. Better made than the others. Only problem is, it will take a fortnight to be made and delivered. I'll stick a picture up when it comes
guys. talking of abba stands. I'm considering buying one myself a conventional type. I have a 2012 tripple r. 1 do the mountings Mark up the inner swing arm pivots ? 2 are there any known chassis changes between the 2012 and 2014 model bikes. as the stands on e bay etc quote 2014 fittings. yeah the swing arm pivots,they will have a plastic cover over them,i have taken them off and just left them off,pretty sure there is no difference between the 2012 and 2014 model but i would phone a dealer just to be on the safe side
Well mine arrived, like it, does what it says, very easy to fit to bike and very easy to manouver, ill get a pic up in next couple of days

pics, both wheels of ground. if im being picky the instructions could have been a bit clearer and would have liked it lifted another couple of inches. but overall, excellent quality components, should last a lifetime.
Not much, its either on the ground or totally off the ground by 3 inches, very clever geometry design as my bike was very heavy on the front on first lift, adjuster compensated for this, bit of fiddling but works superb. from stand up to placing lift on the bike and lifting they quote just over a second, bit optimistic but i would say 4 or 5 seconds. no effort at all. Ive been a welder fabricator for the last 38 years and im impressed with the quality and engineering
