So cool. I definitively "need" (should find better words to explain that to my wife) a Parker guitar one day.

Cool. My 79 Les Paul Deluxe is battered to the bone, the frets are now flat, but it still plays effortless, so I don't change anything yet.
I'm jealous about your amp :)

I "play" bass, been doing so on my lonesome for about 14 years now. :D
I have also been learning guitar for about 5.

    These are my current babies.

Ibanez S521 (stock photo, as I've not got a proper photo of my one yet).

I only got the ibanez last month, as I wasn't getting on with the Epiphone Les Paul I had. :)

Sounds familiar. I bought a bass ona whimn one day. I like playing it but if I could find some equally keen but under-talented band mates that would be even better. :D

I have been bashing away on guitars for years and have managed to reach the giddy heights of 'adequate'. The Vox guitar, Marshall amp and Triumph Tiger make a good set.

Love that Vox. There's a few Matsomuko built Arias Vantages and Westones with a similar construction but they're getting very collectable, esp the set necks.

My first real guitar was an Aria Pro II cardinal series, made by Matsumoku
I think for the ones who started to play in the eighties, a lot of us played those. I still own a semi hollow Aria TA with a bolt on neck. Surprisingly good guitar. Even pickups are good.

Haha, i had a trans blue CS350 cardinal. And a MiK TA 65 with a set neck. Sadly had to sell both during a 'personal financial hiccup'

I have a Les Paul Bass with a Babzic Bridge That was called a BAL. That's in Honeyburst, it sounds great, but it's really heavy too, at twelve pounds.

I reckon I use LP rarely to save my shoulders.
My SG is lighter but the overall balance is not comfortable. lean on the head side. Well for a bass might be different. Did you played an EB3?

I'm a superb guitar player. Probably a cross between Jimi Hendrix and Slash. The trouble then is I always wake up. :(

I have one of the TA-40 pro II’s and I really enjoy it... a great “sleeper” guitar!

Mine spent + 20 years under a bed, a real sleeper :grinning:.
A friend told me about that guitar. His father wanted to learn to play, bought the guitar new, and let it under a bed at least 20 years.. I bought it 200 euros, kind of NOS condition.
