Hi All. I passed my DAS on October 7th after many years of wanting to get a full bike licence. I just recently bought my first big bike; a TT600. I am quite excited to now be able to go out on my own and begin the real learning how to ride. I am guessing some people will ask "Why did you buy that?" and I thought the same thing myself having gone to the dealership to buy a Tiger 900. But, when I saw this bike, I just loved how it looked (never mind it being over £9,000 cheaper!). It is a 2001 model, two previous owners, 7,200 miles on the clock, full service history, with the dealership fuel mapping updates to address the known issues. Even so it still judders at below 4k RPM but, you know what, I don't care. I love how the bike handles and just how quick it feels to me. The only thing I don't like is the silencer - it is way too loud. I have ordered an original factory fit silencer from Ebay and am hoping it will both sound and look better when fitted. Anyway, excited to finally be a Triumph owner and join the forum.
