Hi all. Hamish (yes, that's my real name) here in Selkirk, in the Scottish Borders. Just taken delivery of a white Tiger 900 GT. Excellent bike and much lighter than my Honda CBF1000FAC which was a lovely bike but a tad heavy. I'm not getting any younger so weight is becoming more inportant. Getting to grips with the handbook and the bike and all seems fine so far. The miles will soon come in one of the best biking areas in the country. The only problem I have is with the My Triumph app. I can't register as a user (the server keeps timing out and telling me to try again later, which is infuriating) and that is stopping me going any further with the purchase of the bluetooth communication module for the bike. There is no way I'm shelling out a small fortune for that if I can't connect to it with my phone. I'll just go back to my Tom Tom for navigation and bluetooth intercom for communication with my pillion wife. The app, so far, is a bit of a waste of space and is not showing signs of being well designed ~ bit of a shame really as it gives a poor impression of Triumph. Anybody got similar concernes? Apart from that, no problems. Looking forward to getting out on some runs. Regards, Hamish.
Welcome to a terrific forum and motorcycle community, Hamish! And welcome also to the wonderful world of Triumph. As Bikerman mentioned, we need pictures!
Welcome to the forum I have the 900 GT Pro which comes with the Bluetooth module fitted. I registered with the Triumph App OK, and paired my phone to the bike. However, I could never get the GPS to work! It would give me the ETA but no route! This was with a Galaxy A50, but I found that my previous phone, a Galaxy A5, works perfectly. Apparently this was one of the phones Triumph tested with the module. So, before purchasing the module I would check your phone's compatibility!
