Thanks for your response. I now have 6450 miles on my Tiger 900 GT Pro. Absolutely enjoy the bike. Get in the middle 50's for gas mileage and the tires are holding up very well. This bike seems to do everything that I want it to do. Very comfortable and the heated grips and seat do quite well. In fact I have to turn them down. Did have the rear reflector problem below the license plate. Mine fell off and I ordered another one and super glued it on. Did all of this before the recall came out so it was at my expense.
I'm thinking about getting a 900 GT Pro. Now the weather (here in the UK) is getting cooler as the Autumn progresses, can I ask current owners how effective the heated seat/s are? redtigre900, I'm encouraged by your comment about the grips and seat and having to turn them down. The last bike I had with factory heated grips fitted was an Aprilia Caponord 1200 and the heated grips were rubbish IMO, even on the highest setting they were only luke warm, no heated seats available back then.
Heated grips are excellent - I've only used them on the lowest setting whilst in Wales a few weeks back, which enabled me to keep wearing summer gloves. Tried the heated seat just to check it worked and it certainly gives off a satisfactory warm feeling even through leather trousers on the low setting.
I recently traded my 03’ BMW RT for a Tiger 900 GT Pro - great machine and a joy to ride. The RT was getting to be too much for me to manhandle so I really appreciate how light the Tiger feels. I’m also impressed it’s the craftsmanship of the Tiger - lots of effort on small details.

Returned last week with a two week trip from Spokane WA to southern Utah (Arches NP to Zion NP) and back. The 2020 Triumph Tiger GT LRH now has 4,600 miles since new at the beginning of Aug. I really like the comfort and performance. We were loaded for camping. I had no problem staying with my friend's FJR 1300.
I think there are several options to add foot pegs to the lower bars. My plan was to explore the possibilities after a few miles. I had Rich's Custom Seats modify (rebuild) my seat. Like two previous bikes, I slip right into my riding position. Longest day on this bike was 430 miles and I did not think the position, seat, or pegs were an issue for me. YMMV.
Has anyone actually mounted and tried the EVOTECH GPS mount for the 2020 Tiger 900? I bought the EVOTECH for my 2019 Tiger 800 XRT and I was really disappointed. The marketing hype sounded good but the mount was not stable above 40 mph. My mounted GPS vibrated enough at speed to make it hard on the eyes. It was a great idea. I added some additional rubber washers to help absorb vibration and that helped but not sufficient for me. It fastens to the windshield adjusting bar but I think that was the issue as the adjusting bar-mechanism was not stable enough. So I am curious if the Tiger 900 Evo Nav mount is any better. The Tiger 900 has a windshield stabilization bar which may help the EVOTECH design. Curious to know.
Yes, I've had mine fitted for about 3 weeks now and can't say that I've had any vibration issues with it. It fixes to the frame that holds the screen, not the adjusting bar - you have to remove that to get there.
That is good news about the Evotech on the 900. The mount is a bit pricy and if it works as per your post, it is worth the price. Thanks.
My 2020 Tiger gt pro is scheduled for delivery early December. What is the stock seat like after 30+ minutes of riding? Seems like my 800 Tiger stock seat was ok for about 20 minutes. I ended up getting a Russell Saddle which fixed the seat issue. Do you think the 900 gt pro saddle is good for several hours riding?
It's fine by me. I've done a few long trips on the bike since I got it of around four hours plus and it's been no problem. To be fair though I never found the 800 seat uncomfortable, even after 6 or 7 hours.
Guys I found that the Tiger 900 its limitated to stay behind the 95hp due to A2. I changed the map and the engine its totally different. Check this out, it has subtitles.
I guess it depends what shape your arse is @azokie. Never had a seat problem with my Tiger 800. back ache, knee ache, but no arm ache!
