Another little add on that I've had on all my road bikes for years. Costs next to nothing but very useful. Just stuff a damp cloth in there for visor cleaning while on the move. Some racers used to do this years ago before tear-offs were around. Usually a small piece of damp sponge on a piece of string did the job
Today i've washed off the dust and splatter from the last couple of wet days and put the shopping throw-over panniers on and changed the tune with TuneECU to the non-standard exhaust settings
Thanks Wessa, something to consider and check, on my Harley they recommend that you replace disc mounting bolts when you take the disc off, certainly after a couple of times, what do Triumph recommend? Its crap that Triumph dont do a service manual for the 1200 Bonneville range. HD did a superb 2016 service manual for 103 cubic inch engine Dyna models. I have feeling this is a hot subject and should probably do a search first!
In a similar vein, I always carry a wet chamois (wash) leather in a plastic bag with me when I go out on the bike. Okay, I have to stop to use it when the insect mortuary on me visor gets too full or that last insect to die there was a big bugger, but at least I can see again after clearing everything off.
Despite the rain today I went out on the tiger. The rain was bouncing of the road, but I had a great ride. Had a little experiment while out, I put the bike in sport mode and completed my ride in the rain. Made life a little interesting at times, particularly if I was a bit aggressive with the throttle. I hardly seen any bikes on the road and nobody at all at Midway in Whitechurch, never seen that before. I rode on to Staffordshire triumph via Nantwich where I was surprised to see a 2020 tiger sport in these colours. I originally thought triumph had added a new colour for 2020, but the sales guy confirmed that in was an in-house paint job. They had another four brand new tiger sport's which he said were going for a custom paint job as well. By the time I got home the bike was very dirty, so if it doesn't rain tomorrow it will get a good clean. There is definitely something to be said about riding in the rain
Decent wet weather gear is the difference between a miserable, just get me home experience and what can be an enjoyable chance to hone your riding skills in adverse conditions.
Nice ride in the sunshine today via Silbury Hill. Made even better by the recent fitment of some Conti Road Attack tyres, Massive improvement over the original Pirelli's and no longer follows every line in the road.

Took a ride out to Super Sausage, Towcester on Watling Street (old roman road to those abroad). Had a sausage bap (yum), cuppa and a chat. Four police bikes from hendon on an 'interception course'. Stayed there for three quarters of an hour in the sunshine - luvverly. Back through Potterspury to the A508 and left towards Northampton turning right at Grafton Regis towards Hanslope (which is where the small floods were). As the weather was finally decent I spent the morning cleaning the muck off my bike from last week's ride. Then, as the weather was decent, me and Mrs Mouse went for a ride and made the bike dirty again (Well, motorcycles are for riding, not polishing )
Today i've mostly been cleaning out the man cave - then adjusted and oiled the drive chain..... there's not much else to do on it - not complaining mind....i like it when it starts, runs and stops as expected ....getting a tad breezy out there though
Today was an R&G day. Fitted fork sliders, bar end sliders, cotton reel bobbins and a sidestand extender. Then had an afternoon nap
i take it that the steel tube etc is to be used to mount the twin Uzi's on the front - just above the radiator ?? any news on the battery V drop ??
