got a lovely t100 bonnie lads. only 2000 miles on a 2011 bike so its like new. bought it blind off autotrader and couldnt be happier with it. so hello from dublin lads.

one odd thing, the petrol cap with the keylock on it wont twist off without some massive pressure. i thought it was locked. it wasnt. is there some sort of vacuum locking going on?

If there was a vacuum - the bike wouldn't run due to fuel starvation. Clean seat and cap base that should help with removal.

Welcome to the family. Cracking steed there and excellent intro. You will keep the asylum inmates happy with that picture of the steed. You will fit in lovely now. Plus a great bike the Bonnie's. Your cap probably just needs freeing up. Take it of and clean. Fit key hole a few times with something like plus gas or wd40 and a final fill with light oil like 3 in one. Just wiggle the key around a few times to get things moving again and it should be fine.
    Regards & Enjoy.
    Joe.

Some of those filler cap threaded bungs can be marginally too tight for the hole and a right fiddle. The occasional smear of light grease helps. My T100 could be awkward to quickly close up at the pump.
