Surely you could put the ammo box in the wicker basket? And the rack you've already got looks ok.

Hmm.. A bit more finesse, but it's really amazing what you can do when you horse down on it. At any rate, got to work without incident, and a pleasant ride home in the PM.

so far today i've taken the cover off the bike, unplugged the Optimate and put the throwover panniers on and got the bike out of the yard...

what I will be doing is risking life and limb out there today running the wife to Durham University Library for a staff meeting while I bugger off for 40 mins and then bring her home again

probably run to Ludworth Tower (a County Durham ruin) and take some photos

smoke me a Kipper I'll be back for breakfast eh wot chaps

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thanks for your suggestions The 'squeak' seems to come and go a bit.
I can't recall if it was there when I last cleaned the chain up on the paddock stand so I will have a look/listen tomorrow.

That would look awesome if you can mount it just in front on the clocks:)
Can you source a couple of bofors gun barrels to mount either side? That would be epic:grinning:
Would go well with the ammo box panniers- is this the birth of the Apocalypse Bike?

Checking it over to get ready for tomorrow. I’m participating in the DGR for the first time. Alas, could not find any tweed in time. Maybe next year!
