Stewarts Motorcycles, Sunbury on Thames. Stewart has a roll-up on the go at all times, has the gravelly voice to match, and a wicked sense of humour. A proper time-served mechanic who knows how to mend things rather than just replace bits he is meticulous and thorough and very fair on price. Got an older bike? No problem. He was putting a fresh-out-of-the-sonic-cleaner IL-4 carb bank back together when I collected Hugh from his year three service the other day. Just be ready to lose an hour if he gets chatty...

Sunbury train station is just over the road so I often leave the bike with him and head into London for the day.

I have used him as well. Really knows his stuff and my FZS1000 that I had at the time was superb once it had been through his workshop. However, be prepared to valet your bike when it comes back to remove all the greasy paw prints and cigarette ash.

I now live in Basingstoke and highly recommend Just Motorcycles. They look after my GSF1250s and are my go-to place for any small jobs that I don't want to do on all our bikes - such as electrics!

County Durham - well the Durham area anyway

You won't get better than Durham bikes.. all makes catered for including classic motorcycles.. there's a couple of old Triumphs in the workshop being restored at the moment and they have a beautiful T595 for sale at the moment... https://www.durham-bikes.co.uk/product/1998-triumph-daytona-t595/ .. which if I had the room for........

They have been brilliant with my Sprint RS - just had compression test, shims adjusted and throttle bodies balanced for £190 - the bike is now a complete animal on the roads once more

Andy & Charlotte are continuing the good name that Durham Bikes had under the previous owners Tommy & Teresa .... in the local area if anyone had a problem it was always "Tommy will fix it" - the reputation continues - I won't let anyone else work on my bike...

    East Sussex,
I recently used TPS Motorcycles, Polegate.

They serviced my Sprint ST 1050 abs, 2005.
I was delighted. I'd added to the service, two new Bridgestone tyres, new brake pads, valve clearances, and every fluid changed. They checked VIN in advance, to order the correct Triumph parts.

Bike now feels wonderful, and I can ride with confidence in it. I bought the bike earlier this year, as a long term keeper, so wanted everything sorted at this, 24,000 mile service.

I will be using TPS, all the time for my non-warranty bike. Their rates and workmanship are excellent.

I'm not going to mention names but as a caution...my hands no longer allow me to wield spanners properly so my friendly local shop service my tiger 955i.
Yesterday I removed a whopping surplus 3/4 litre of oil where they'd radically overfilled the sump.
    THERE WILL BE WORDS SPOKEN.
