I'd heard that early 1200 Explorers had had some head issues but gearbox ? What were the symptoms ?

switched riding modes from wet to normal used quicker shifter up the gears then couldnt get 6th gear..and it made a metal grinding noise , so i slowed down to stop and couldnt get 1st either by this time the noise was really bad , so cut engine and called triumph assist for recovery ,, and bike is still in garage being rebuilt ,,, it had just been serviced 2 weeks before breakdown ,, triumph assist is a bloody joke too but thats a different story lol

btw its only done 6k miles and its a 19 plate lol

Get it fixed and get rid?
Personally , it'd always be at the back of my mind and i'd have to get rid (as I did with the xdiavel).
Every noise was a potential blown engine after the 1st blow up (850 miles and 6 months old...)
    Too much nailbiting after that....
