Not sure this should be in this section or model specific.Apologies if wrong. As I am looking to get second bike I noticed that Youles of Manchester have a brand new unregistered air cooled ie old model Thruxton but says it is an A2 model. My question is, is this an ecu controlled restriction or just the restrictor kit?,or is it fixed and not unrestrictable.I have a full power licence so do not need or want a specific A2 model but the price £7500 seems good.Just wondering out loud cost to derestrict

I wouldn’t have thought it couldn’t be derestricted but unfortunately I can’t help with how it’s done. I haven’t had a restricted bike for about 30 years ;)

I would give Youles a ring if I were you.

I am not sure why this (A2 restrictions) is an issue in Moldova. If you have an A2 restriction plate remove it. Job done.
