I have a Hurricane tank I got in a pile of project bike parts many years ago. Never used but no seat. Very heavy. Buried under the beautiful glass is a steel tank. Hanging on the wall in my shop. Conversation piece.
Years ago i had a Hurricane inner steel liner on and old custom Aerial Huntmaster (A10) unfortunately i cant find any pics ...looked good though.
I don't like the look of them and any reto bike is only worth what you are willing to pay the trident looks better
And people will pay for classic bikes these days simply because most of us started riding when classic bikes where the most modern thing out there and nostalgia is king, i wonder just how today's bikes will fair in another fifty years.
And i agree but as some of my mates from when we were 16 to now some in our seventies wont have anything but carbeys i am more for the old look but no points no cabies and no oil leaks i like modern tec

Don't get me wrong i also like modern tech and no oil leaks is always good....but you cant beat an oil pressure gauge...but i just wonder if today's high tech bikes will survive as well nostalgia wise given the current disposable attitudes.
I suspect the electronics will be the undoing of our modern bikes. When the ECU croaks you’re done. Old bikes were so simple in comparison. I used to be able to tune or even rebuild a bike. Today, not so much.
U are correct i only service my bike and do minor things anything to do with the fuel or moter i don’t touch .cars are the same i have a desiel cx5 mazda i don’t even service it looks to me just to get any work done you would have to take the moter out not like the old days
