Just had a call from Nick Samson (BSH) asking if tomorrow is OK for him to come and photo the bike...shame its going to be bloody hot...hate the heat....passing out wont be a good look.
Put some ice cubes down ya pants Tricky , wait on, do not a good idea it'll look like you've pissed yourself when they melt , won't be a good look for the pictures! Be interesting to see the finished article though mate, well done.
In that case you may find this useful! If they are too expensive just get an ice pop or a Jubbly if larger size is required!
Middle pic looks like your concentrating hard on a game of pocket billiards while oggling that bike dill.
Spent a pleasant three hours with Nik while he took some pics of the bike and spent the rest of the time just chatting seems a very nice guy .....should see the bike in an edition just before Christmas.
I'll go see if I can find it Tricky, but as I've only just seen this I may have missed it. Can you scan it for here? I assume it's the green T160? Have you seen the latest review on Easyriders: I haven't seen it for years, remember Dr Twatburger and Miraculous Mutha? A guy wrote in to ask for advice on how to get the black soot off of his knob cause he'd been shagging his Harley up the zorst - Mutha replied "Use a wire brush, it comes right off" Edit: just looked in the previews for Feb and March - Feb has a T140 and March has a T160 Edit edit: yep it's the T160 that used to be pink - so it's in this months - if I get near to a newsagent I'll get it. But I won't, so can you get it for me and put it on here - thanks.
Yeah! I had it wrong it's in the March issue no doubt Nik will send me a copy at some point...and yes it the green T160, Still got a whole load of Easyrider mags in the loft and loads of BSH and AWOL in the shed.
OK finally got March issue of BSH, so I have scanned my Trident feature for those that are interested.
That's terrific, Tricky! Congrats on getting your bike featured professionally. I love the photos AND the story! Simply awesome. Thanks for scanning and sharing.
Tricky, thanks for scanning that and adding on here. It's a great bike, you've done some great work on it and as someone who had an A75 engined pink chop in the 70s - thanks for keeping this one alive. I'm going to make a point of needing to get to town for an 'essential reason' to see if I can pick up a copy. Well done that man - hopefully the teeth are feeling better - rounds of applause for Tricky please
