If you just want to know how to get somewhere why use Base Camp anyway? Why not simply put the destination postcode directly into your sat nav and off you go?

If I'm planning a tour I've found the best way of using Base Camp is to plot your start point followed by your end point. This will give you a basic route which you can then easily modify by plotting intermediate points. I did a scenic route from home (Hull) to Scotland (Moffat) in about 5 minutes using this technique, and it worked fine.

As others have said, it's what you get used to.

That method works for me too Rigggers. Well It did when I had my old zumo 550. Not tried it on my fairly recent enforced change of device. Hope it works the same on my zumo 595.

Well I was going to help you. See my earlier post where I asked you two questions. But I've given it a bit more thought and on balance I think you're beyond help.

It's you that's coming across all aggressive, I don't understand why you're getting so excited about Basecamp, nobody is forcing you to use it, if you don't like it use something else - move on!
In the meantime there are plenty of us happily continuing to use Basecamp successfully.
This thread is turning into an alternative to the Brexit thread. :joy:
