I have purchased a 2020 Tiger 900 GT Pro. Haven't seen any of them on the road so far this spring and would like to start a forum section on the 2020 Tiger 900. Going on a three day ride today and will put about 900 miles on the Tiger. That would give me almost 3K miles total. Absolutely love the bike. This is my third Tiger as the other two were 800's. The torque is fantastic and the bike is very comfortable. Enjoy the 7" TFT screen.

If anyone out there has a 900, let's start talking about them.

Congrats on that new machine! I have a 2018 Speedmaster and want to add that same Tiger 900 as my next bike.

Be interested to hear how you get on.

On the list for when my current GS needs replacing.

I bought a 900 Rally Pro on 20th June after p/exing my Africa Twin Adventure Sport. The Tiger is much lighter and feels a lot smaller, which is exactly what I wanted.
Finding it very comfortable, handling v. good, quick shifter excellent. I don't like the Triumph luggage - much too wide for my liking. I am hoping Bumot produce something soon.
Also, tank bag options (clip on type) seem difficult due to the closeness of the tank filler to the ignition switch?
Also, I assumed the sliding carriage for a to-box would enable me to fit my Givi Trekker to-box, but no, theTriumph version of the Givi Trekkers is slightly different, so I had to drill some extra holes in the top-box plate. No big deal but slightly annoying.
If you are looking for a high level satnav holder, Evotech have produced a good one.

Other than that, all good so far.

I bought my new Tiger 900 GT Pro on June 4th, Montreal, Canada. Driving the motorcycle appealed to me immediately. A pleasure to drive. The 7" dashboard is very impressive. Love the bike!
Unfortunately, the sliding plate for the Trekker 42 L top box is still b/o two months after purchase. I also had two problems at the dealer with the dashboard after the 1000 km inspection a couple of weeks ago. The light that indicates that I have to do maintenance is always on now. Also, the automatic turn signal only work in manual mode since the update of the system at the dealer. They don't know why and they were suppose to contact Triumph about that. And the function for the signal lights auto / manual mode has disappeared from the dashboard. Anyone had an issue with these problems ?

Turns out I got the date wrong :(
Been told that they should have it on the 14th and should be ready for the 19th:)
Kevin at Triumph Newcastle has suggested that I wait a couple of weeks and get it put on the road at the beginning of September and get the new registration number :)he has said if I need a bike in the meantime that they’ll let me have a loaner :)
I have agreed because I don’t think I can ride a bike at the moment anyway
Feckin shoulders had me out of bed in agony at 4oclock this morning

Makes sense to wait a couple of weeks, it would be a real shame if your shoulder pain made your new bike experience miserable.

Good luck with your appointment today, I hope they get you some treatment sorted out quickly :)

    Hi
Anyone that can recommend an iPhone holder for the steering bar?
It’s many different makes out there, but it would be nice to get it from someone that have actually tried it.

    Yeah. Thanks.
Quite a few to choose from..
    I’m old-school and use an iPhone 8.
Will probably change to X, 11 or the new 12 soon. They are quite steep in price. I prefer one that are a bit more versatile(if that’s an english word)
Something that can be used on different makes.
Have you tried one of them?
    Tom

    A totally other issue...
I was overtaken today by a bike...downhill from the little village Guadelest(inland from Benidorm)
The road is extremely winding, and as a consider my self as a beginner(for 2 time in my life) i was going slow and safe. I was driving in 50-60km/h and this chap on his street bicyckle just made me look folish. Hahaha..
So, doing the re-learning my countersteering skills on the winding road i just could not remember what to do if I enter the turn to fast and need to adjust for a sharper turn Should I push the inner handle more or should i lean more?
So, that’s wy I took it easy.
Any tip, or is this a subject for another fora?

Are you finding any bad bar vibration at motorway speeds? I’m considering a 900 for my next bike. Seems like a good do it all bike

You can notice vibrations, for sure. But not any bad vibration. As you said, a good do it all bike. I love it. 7500km in 2 months

Howdy Redtigre. Yep, I’m keen to be chatting about the 900GT. I've just returned from a 1400km jaunt around the Central Nth Island here in NZ. Beautiful in every way. i.e. No rain, lots of sun, little wind, mostly back roads with next to no traffic and the bike performed brilliantly. I've done the same trip on my Street Triple a while ago and this was way easier. I only needed the heated seat once - well....probably didn't 'need' it but why. Why not?!!
Good handling, good power, comfortable. I suppose I'm preaching to the converted. Are you enjoying the bike now, a few months into the relationship?
    Cheers,
    Paul.
