Understand. It is expensive, but so was my phone so considering the replacement cost I think it's worth the investment. The advice I got on this forum gave me the confidence it would be a solid purchase. I didn't go for the wireless charger option as my aux socket is literally inches away, plus I carry a Rav battery pack in the tank bag. Using Waze on the iPhone works a treat, and with Airpod Pros on in the helmet navigation directions are pumped straight into my lugs. When I order the phone case, I think a "weather resistant" poncho (clear plastic cover) came with it.

I'm assuming from your positive comments that you've not had any problems with vibrations from the twin engine affecting your phone. A while back someone posted that the vibes 'destroyed' his phone. I've also read that a phone camera was damaged. In both cases it was a twin engine. I've got the 'budget' iPhone 5SE ( £200. Not bad for a new iPhone. And yes, I'm several years behind the times but it does the job) and want to use it as a satnav.
Anyone had this sort of problem?

I used my iPhone in a ultimate add on water proof carrier and never had any problems :)
