Hey guys hope all is well with you in these strange times My name is Jay im originally from New Zealand but living in Brisbane Australia im a recent proud owner of a triumph TT600 and untill today was stoked with it ive owned other bikes a hyosung gtr650 and an old Suzuki PE250 But this bike is so good Soooo I go to check my oil and water today and the oil is dripping off the dipstick like water ive only owned the bike for 2 weeks and bought it 2nd hand and now the check engine light is on have I been taken for a ride???(excuse the pun) I havent gotten around to doing an oil change yet will that fix it? im to scared to take it out until I fix this any advice would be greatly appreciated
Welcome from a fellow oldbie. Change the oil using recommended grade and see what happens on a short, gentle ride. If any doubt, take it back to the vendor and question him/her about it. The look on his/her face will tell you all you need to know. Good luck.
