    Hi guys,

Ive not had my Speed very long, its a 65plate with just over 9k on the clock. When i shift from 1st to 2nd above 5k revs, it goes with an almighty crunch. If you change below 5k its fine. Its not a clunk like a normal shift through neutral but a crunch like changing gear in a car without using the clutch. It is only this one change, all other changes up and down are smooth as a nut.

The chain isnt tight and my cable not loose. I didnt notice it on my test ride but i didnt ride on my test ride like i ride it now. All i have done is change my shift lever position.

    Anyone any ideas?

    Many thanks

Sounds like moving your lever has changed the shift ratio, go back to previous position and see if it's ok.

Thats interesting, the lever to start with was too high for me, i had to move my foot a long way to shift up so i lowered it. I will try it back in a position more like when I got it and see if that helps
