Ok, so get your one eyed trouser snake jokes done and out of the way... and then, tell us what your favourite garage tool is...

I’ve a couple that I inherited from my grandad (rip) that I love and the just work as they should, even now!

    1) a Wiltshire 2nd pass hand file (Australian made) still cuts the mustard but by all rights should just be flat bar by now!
    2) a no-name hand drill... great for those delicate jobs that need a light touch!

I love using them both, because it usually means I’m making something, not just fixing something. The drill looks 70s, God knows how old the file is...

Nice. I used a hand drill similar to that many times when I was an alarm installer. They do come in handy for delicate jobs.

I don't make things often any more, so I guess my favorite tool (set) is the combination wrenches my lovely bought me that are open on one end and ratcheting on the other. They are nice to have.

I don't have photos, but my wife's grandfather was a woodworker and she inherited some cool, very old tools from him. Some are even hand crafted by the man himself.

Looks like the focus is on non power tools. So I'm going with channel lock pliers.

Wouldn’t know where to start as I work on the tools. I’ve so many specialist tools that are favourites.

My brother-in-law once put a ten penny nail in his shin bone with a pneumatic nail gun. It was cool (to me, not to him).

Yeah, it's true of guns, you don't need one until you do.
