Hello guys I’ve been rebuilding the carb however this was disconnected when I bought bike. I’ve been told the bottom two pipes go to the fuel tank and top ones go nowhere and are just breathers. Is this right?

Top ones are vacuum pipes , should go to the fuel tap , as tap is vacuum activating. Other would go to carbon cannister if fitted (California models).

Hi there it does not have a Caron canister. This is the trophy model.

The tap has 3 pipes. One feeds back and the other two go to the lower carb to feed fuel

The model sprint, trident , trophy etc is irrelevant , if this bike was ment for the ",Californian" market/State. It would have carbon canister fuel vapour recovery system ! All carbureted Vehicle's made for and sold in California must have this !!

If your bike doesn't have this system, I believe one of those hoses is surplus and should be capped off.
There will be vacuum ports on the manifold stubs ??
