New Member With A Problem

    Hi I’m new to this forum and I have joined to see if anyone can help
    I have a 2017 Street scrambler that I have done a few bits on however I am trying to do a project we’re I change the front plastic headlight and speedo.
    I have purchased a Daytona Velona speedo which I saw on another build , the problem now is I’ve been told that if you remove the speedo the bike will not work Pre 2015 bikes have a wire loom you can purchase however from 2015 there is nothing?
    I have heard that the custom company kept the wiring from original and put it somewhere whilst attaching a speed sensor to new gauge ?
    Anyone done this or ideas greatly appreciated thanks
