I want to try a tubeless rear rim on my 2014 XC. Been looking at a Kineo rim. Also thought about Outex tubeless kit. The Kineo is expensive and I'm not really convinced about the Outex kit. Can anyone offer advice?
Have you done a search on Youtube for "sealing wire wheels" or some other phrase. Lots of peeps have worked out a reliable method of sealing wire wheels to run tubeless tyres - if that's what yer after?
No I haven't looked using that description but will try it. Cheers for the heads up... I'm really surprised that Triumph haven't gone down the road of tubeless. Both BMW and KTM are well into it.
Even the Suzuki V-strom has tubeless wire wheels. Make you could consider grafting them onto your bike?
LoL. Yes it is shameful that Triumph is lagging behind. Maybe they have tubeless now but in 2014 they didn't. The Kineo ones are bloody expensive and I haven't seen an alternative except the Elastoplast...
