Hi Steve, we will be moving to a large village/small town approx 20kms from our current place which is deep in the countryside. It will means more services on our doorstep and less need to use the cars for any/every bit of shopping (4 bars & 2 bakers) we need to do. We're both looking forward to it.

Best place to bike is the kerry ring in the west the views are to die for. In the East the Wicklow mountains coribut gap . Theres a pub on route at Glendalough that bikers meet. Cant think of the name of it but its on the juntion in Glendalough. From their you can do Biglads route then on to Kerry. Just hope the weather is good to you ,

Hi Lou, I've just checked and that is about a 900 kms round trip for me, so at this stage I'm making no promises, especially as we'll have the Grand Forum Get-together shortly after. Plus off course I'll need to buy another bike !!!!!!! It's not a bad life is it?
