The Mini project started 7 years ago with Nik and Rich. Good watch, especially if you enjoy attention to detail, cocking about and bespoke 'brackets'.

The adventures of the Bad Obsession Moorsport Boys with Project Binky, the quest to create a 2 litre, turbocharged, 4WD Austin Mini.

I love minis, classics as well as the German ones. ;)
The most impressive classic I’ve ever seen was a 4WD Cooper S which had race tuned engines in the front and back. It was fantastically engineered but still looked authentically period. :grinning:

I've been following this with much appreciation. Their work is very impressive packing all the turbo 4WD mechanicals into the Mini and the only obvious evidence is the wide arches.
Talking of 4WD Minis, a bloke I know owns this which is a works car built in 10 days apparently, to take on the 4WD works Ford Capris in rallycross.

Because of it's provenance, this modest wee car may well approach that kind of money (though it's not for sale AFAIK) SAM_0599.JPG

yes, seemed alot of work, even if it means you don't need the extra licences.
