My phone, laptop and the TV only show temperature in that new fangled centigrade. I guess you must use your own thermometer or piece of seaweed :grinning:

Just to add another to this thread, as I also want to get to the tubeless wheels. Central Wheel Components in Colehill, Birmingham, offer this service. They are an agent for an Italian company (BART) who do such conversions. It could be they use their own system as well. They quote £120/wheel with a 2-3 week turnaround. You need to strip everything from the wheel, tyres, brakes, bearings etc. I may take a trip down there as they say you can see wheels being done.

Just a bit more info re Central Wheels in Coleshill. Spoke with a guy there who explained the process. It's not just tape stuck on the wheel, but the wheel is then vulcanised in the oven for the seal, as well as giving strength and elasticity, hence why removal of bearings as grease would run out. Also spoke with a mate in the trade who said they are well respected company.
Will be posting my wheels down there early next week and will put results on here in a few weeks time.

Got wheels back from CWC with new Metzeler Roadtec 01 tyres. Unfortunately no pics as guys were playing catch up on orders & simply forgot. Rebuilt & balanced with one ride. Too early to comment on seal as no issues but the different tyres are amazing. What a massive improvement. Sure footed and turn in so much better. First impressions are excellent and now with added bonus of being tubeless.

Ordered on Jan 22nd and arrived earlier today, bit of a delay because of Italy's lockdown. They are light as a feather and the finish is superb. I'll weigh the stock wheels as I take them off and then compare with these, but the difference feels massive.

very nice + of course foolproof! i opted for the Alpinas, less costly + prefer their standard wire look, + the foged rims used NO weigts to balance. luckl was good in 7 weeks before the BS started

Those look really good. Please do follow up with the weight difference compared to stock and your riding impressions once they have been fitted.

Got them at last, fitted them last night and had a quick blast round the block. Weight saving on the front is 6lbs and on the rear 8lbs, that's getting on for 6.5Kgs, won't get a good ride till the weekend but even round the block it felt lighter to steer.
