I just picked up a 2019 Speed Triple RS. There is a great deal of information here that I will be reading through. This is my first new street bike since my 2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200r, (now 1224). My wife has a 2017 Yamaha R3 and I sometimes use it to commute, and I have the ZRX for acting foolish, a KTM250sx for the dirt, and an '07 Honda CBR600rr I use to instruct track days and play with on the racetrack. I am a paramedic in Franklin TN, (just south of Nashville) and other than motorcycles am active in Retired Racing Greyhound and Galgo, (Spanish sighthound), adoption. I bought the RS hoping I could have a bike I would leave alone as the ZRX has been modded to the point that it is a bit silly. I don't know how well that will work out, however, as it seems geared a bit tall and runs a little lean with the stock MAP. So far I am enjoying the bike and getting used to all the electronic extras I am not used to having and, other than a tail tidy, (it really needed that), it is 100% stock right now. Thank you all for putting together this site! -Michael Julian
GalgoMoto Welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates some of the steeds. Great intro by the way. You will fit right in here in the asylum. Regards Joe.
Welcome Michael, when I saw ‘Spanish sight hound’ I was thinking ‘Guide dogs for the blind’ google sorted that one out
