T100 Sign Coil Wiring

    2006 t100.had bike stolen now recovered but ign coil wiring has been cut off.
    Can anyone help with the connections to the coil.
    I have yellow/black wire and a red wire but not sure which ones go to positive and negative terminals on the coil.

    According to the Haynes manual the red wire goes to terminal 1 on the coil and the yellow and black wire to terminal 2, which connects to terminal 8 on the ignition control unit

    Just had a look on my coil (2006 T100) Yellow and black to the minus and red to the plus terminals on the coil.

    Typical of good old Haynes to use something different!!

    Hope you get it going again

    To drive this nail out of sight red is the +ve feed from the igniter which chops power to fire the coil HT circuit.
