I will at some stage before my 2018 bike's first MoT next year, check it's headlight alignment. I'm just curious because in the manual (both the owners' and Haynes) there is only mention of a vertical adjustment, but apparently no provision for horizontal setting. I've usually (in the distant past) used a small adjustment screw in the headlight rim on cars and bikes to move the horizontal aim, but after a quick look, no such adjuster seems to be there on my 2018 bike's headlight.
    Am I missing something here?

    Thanks for any info.

My 2004 Bonnie does have a screw to adjust side ways, maybe Triumph are just trying to save a pound or two.

With modern lenses, especially where LED bulbs are fitted the beam pattern does not have any throw to one side, the pattern on the glass where halogen bulbs are fitted is towards the left to light the edge of the road rather than the centre dazzling oncoming motorists, hence the need for side to side adjustment.

Thanks for your input gents, I've no doubt that the headlight aim will be able to comply with regulations with just a vertical adjustment (any problems would be apparent by now, because of rafts of MoT failures), but I was simply curious as to the reasons for the change.
