Have just Googled it. Source appears to be Fox News. Looks like another Republican conspiracy theory. Fake news indeed.

It was further down the article. A doctor in New York was trying to say that people who are victims of this misinformation shouldn’t be blamed.

"Misinformation is a structural problem," he says. "Blaming somebody for ingesting bleach or for staying at home and dying is akin to blaming somebody who is walking down the street and gets hit by a drunk driver."

I’m sorry but that’s just b@ll@cks. There’s no choice involved in being hit by a drunk driver (apart from the choice of walking down the street) but there’s certainly a choice being made by ingesting bleach because of something you’ve read on social media.

Yes, you would have to be pretty credulous and weak-minded to believe that sort of thing because you read it on social media or because Donald Trump said so. Unfortunately a lot of people are credulous and weak-minded. Common sense isn't as common as it should be!

or may be the Russians did it? I've no idea if it is a conspiracy or not, people can read it and make their own minds. I'll wait for the investigation to complete.

Sure is not there yet, but seems a fair distance away from “taking back control”.. trust the emigrant from an ex comunist dictatorship country, this is how it starts..I was expecting a bit more from a country bursting with patriots, rather than being shut up by a few lifted restrictions, soon to re start premier league and page3 with a face mask.. you are being screwed over by the posh boys, big time..

Completing on the house back in europe soon and to be honest it can’t come soon enough. Oh Boris, slacking in every possible way, mainly at being a leader, growing a pair or accepting that he’s actually so far out of his depth that even a double extension ladder would not help him to reach the bottom. A bit of a shame, I reckon this country and its people deserves better. DD, I see ya still shielding, isolating and taking da pi**, thank good for at least some stability at this crazy time

There was an article in this morning's local paper regarding what's happening on the Navajo Reservation in the face of the COVID pandemic. Here's the photo that led the article showing a checkpoint with the formations of Monument Valley in the background.

Contrast that scene with the photos I took when a small group of us rode through Monument Valley as part of a week-long motorcycle trip a few years back. :(

Well, here's a "surprise". Not. :( I just saw this news item so here's a followup to my post from this past Wednesday regarding the Memorial Day weekend Lake of the Ozarks bash. With a "twist" on the story, of course.:confounded: Geez.......

The media here In the USA keeps publishing unitless rising bell shaped graphs, suddenly just realized this, spent the day trying to recreate a statistical graph from past statistical data. It can be done, what the news media is showing is total number of cases. As such it can only peak and flatline into infinity, but never drop. New cases here have only had minor spikes and never went past a 10% spike in a day or a week so basically it's like a flatline. Leadership could use some math skills. Monkey see, monkey do is not leadership. Ok a rant.

Every day you see police officers without masks and not social distancing, yet there are no reports of them catching the virus, do they know something we don't?.

Yes, they know that they haven't got the required PPE (gone to NHS first) and that they can't do their job whilst remaining 2m apart from both each other and the people they have to deal with :rolleyes:
Once in work I have to interact with my colleagues in much the same way, when we're done then it's home and continue the social distancing. Only go into work when it's absolutely necessary to do so is the only mitigation we have available to us as well :confused:
