As it's a national holiday here today (we celebrate the King's birthday) I took the opportunity to ride around the Utrecht ridge. Elevations up to 300 feet!
I bet the bike really worked hard to gain such a dizzy height. Did you have to stop half way up to adjust the mixture due to the thin air?
Finished the project tonight. No spraying fuel. No stink. All hoses routed. Cleaned out tank drains, as I think one was plugged from the beginning. Ripped up the neighborhood... slightly... but it runs nicely. Low fuel level still stays on, even with 40ohms across the terminals, as the sending unit is clearly out to lunch. I will have to fool with that later.
Just been tinkering with some autosol on the pipe. These were taken before the elbow was greased and jump started. 2013 Scrambler (aircooled) Tec "Desert" pipe.
Got a ride into work today, forgot how comfortable the seat and ride were . Tired on way home, so will get a picture tomorrow
Went into the garage to do an oil and filter change on my Street Triple. Thought "brrrrrrrrrrr it's bloody cold in here today", so here I am, sat back in the house with a brew.
Front brake calipers, What a $%^*$£%$£ etc they have been to remove the pistons! Now having a cuppa n a smoko before going to fit new seals etc. Also ive managed to turn a 4 pot into a twin as the pig only fires on 2 pots! Not put new fuel in yet though so hoping that bursts them back into life? Bodyworks still off so wont take long to delve once again into the bloody carbs. Also found some Tank cleaner stuff i bought years ago so that maybe next job after the brakes.. Normally id be losing my mind with this bike but as we are in lockdown its a godsend as its always giving me something to do Stay safe
Well managed to go around the pier barriers (Still closed for boating) to get some decent pix after work. Traffic is still good with only half of workers back
