Hello All, New to the forum to today, Bob from Leeds. I've been riding a 2013 Speed triple for the last 4 years and decided its time I reached out to a few other triumph owners. My bikes pretty standard, just a few extras - High Level Arrow pipes, ASV levers, screen, belly pan and its shod with Pilot Road 5's (which I'm very happy with). I'm up for local meet ups and enjoy a bit of touring too (UK and Europe), maybe even the odd track day or hill climb. If this lockdown ever ends that is!!!!! I've also got a 21yr old Suzuki TLR Streetfighter in the garage (guess that for another place). Cheers, Bob
Many thanks for the warm welcome lads!. I'll update my profile, then have a good look round the site. Despite having my Speed triple for a few years now, I still feel I'm not getting the best from it (or maybe its not getting the best from me?). Hopefully with a bit more knowledge gained here and a few minor changes, I'll get the best from my bike. Looking forward to it.... Cheers, Bob
Cave Bob You found the right forum And welcome. Here you will find some of the greatest minds and help you will ever want. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and send the inmates a picture of the steed. Regards Joe
Just guessed at the file size here.. looks to be okay?. Had her out for a bit of wash this morning....this lockdowns starting to get me down, I'm itching to get out. Was due to be touring Devon and Cornwall in early May, but just found out that's had to be cancelled too. Maybe its time to have a look a few bits on the bike. Anybody any recommendations for aftermarket mirrors ? Cheers, Bob
Hi BigCLM, California, now there is a place!. I was over there last October visiting one of my mates, who moved to San Francisco. I hired a Tiger 800 for a couple of days and rode North up the coast to a spot called Little River, then headed back stopping off at Bodega Bay. The roads and scenery were fantastic! Wish we'd had more time to go further, next time we're over we will.. Cheers, Bob
Cave Bob I live north of the Golden Gate Bridge. I ride up and down the California coast often as it is so close to where I live. I do Bodega Bay all the time as well as the wine country. I ride a Street Twin below.
Great looking bike, I bet its just the thing for taking in those coastal roads and Californian sunshine.
