The 1971 Tiger I just bought has an original saddle that is in very good condition except that the Triumph logo on the rear of the seat has faded and is nearly gone. Is there any way that can be replaced or rejuvenated? It appears much better in the photo than in regular light. RearOfSaddle.jpg

You could try getting a sign writer. Or seat refurbisher.

I've never used one, but they make a stencil that you can use to paint on a new logo

    Hi James,
I've only just come across this post - there is stencils available to restore the logo on the seat. I've done it twice and the results are outstanding. I'll dig out the contact details for the guy I got it from and post it here tomorrow. I've attached a photo of the end result.

    Barry,
Thanks, that looks terrific. I have the "ghost" of the original logo on my seat cover so I'll need to remove it completely to have mine look as sharp as yours. Any recommendation for removing the "ghost"?

    Hi Jim
The supplier I got the stencil off was:

    John Esposito
    6507 Stallion Road
    Clifton VA201241428
    United States

It cost $23.10 in October 2018 and comes with instructions how to apply it.

The remains of the original logo can be removed easily with paint thinners.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Again Jim,

If you do an ebay search for "Triumph Stencil" you will get the site where you can purchse the item from John.
