Hello everyone, I am Pino, I live in Cali. I have three triumphs, Thruxton R, Street Tripple RS and 2020 Rocket 3 R which I have lots of problems with since I got it two months ago.
1- Engine light came on, I spoke with the dealer he said, don't worry these big bikes have tons of sensors and it might be that one moved. Okay, I connected the bike to a reader, and the error I got was " Misfire" I took it back, they updated software and the error is gone.
2- another engine light came on, this time it says " clutch switch malfunction"
it's still on. in the meantime, the gas level indicator is not working, it only works when the bike is low on gas.
3- yesterday, the rare tire was locking with a message on the dash" ABS disabled", it was so scary, I returned home, checked the tires and the battery, I found one of the battery cables was loose, I tightened it, the message disappeared and I took it for a ride and it was fine.
4- today another freaking message on the dash " OCABS" disabled. I am tired of going back and forth to the dealer. I love the bike, but it's really frustrating. Any help will be appreciated.

At two months old I’d be back to the dealer with it and insist that the problems you’ve had are noted with Triumph themselves
You might just be having teething problems and you’ll have to give the dealer a chance to rectify any faults :)
Could be that the loose battery terminals have caused the problems:(
Good luck and let us know how you get on :)

    Hello everyone,

It turned out that I had a bad battery due to the confusion about the side ignition key (on bikes in the U.S. and Canada). I was getting mixed information. Some said to leave it on at all times, while others said no, it should be turned off. Anyway, I ended up changing the battery. Also, the clutch switch was broken. I changed it, and it made life better.
