Hi Everyone, just dropped by to introduce myself.

As the title says, i live in Birtley in north east england and own a Scrambler 1200XE in white and green colours and it’s probably the best all rounder i’ve ever riden.

Anyway, keep safe during this pandemic and if you do go out, ride safe.

Will do once i can get it out of the garage. Just come to fire it up but she’s dead. I work overseas and just got home recently, but while i’m away the trickle charger is always plugged in, unfortunately when i’ve looked it looks like my misses has piled a load of gear next to the bike and the charger cable has come unplugged :mad::mad: now the battery is dead and looks like it’s not charging, any ideas anyone???
I have the Triumph alarm imobiliser fitted so maybe there’s an issue with that??? To be honest i’m not clued up on this stuff so any ideas are very welcome.

Unfortunately if it's been dead for a while the likely outcome is you will need to buy a new battery ;);)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

On the battery issue, i managed to get it charged up after a full day of charging, TFT all lights up but is showing “Service is due” it’s not, i had it serviced in October last year. But, it still won’t turn over????

You may have enough battery to show ignition lights etc, but try leaving it charging longer as needs a full capacity battery to actually crank over, If poss check for battery voltage and report back we got some clever sparkies on here.
