What do you do with your extras, I ride a street triple. Would like to carry a couple of waters, a couple of snacks, cell phone, cell phone extra battery, compact camera, locks, etc. My rides out are typically less than 350 miles. Tail bag is a bitch to swing my leg over. Tank bag is a pain in the arse as the area I ride, i fuel up about every 60 miles, because fuel availablity on weekends can be hit or miss. Open to suggestions, cargo pants, tactical vest, etc.
Waist pack search turned up some good results. Didn't want to look all tactical vest geared up in case some Barney Fife seen me and pulled me over, and spend the next 20 minutes spread eagle on the ground waiting on a backup officer.
On my Speed Triple I have a small Givi tanklock bag which is on and off the tank in a second or two. Absolutely no hassle at the fuel pump. In it I carry an Airman compressor, a tube of “sticky string”, my phone which can be charged in the bag plus other assorted bits and pieces. Couldn’t do without it.
I like the Camel back military grade packs. I would not get a large pack but just one of the small ones like the MULE or Ambush. The plus side is you can carry water and drink it while riding and have room for a few items. https://www.camelbak.com/en/military/gmi-packs
I use this with a small waterproof bag... https://www.fc-moto.de/es/Booster-Net-Net I believe is cheap and comfortable. If you get the metal hooks type remember to glue the rubber tips so they do not fall and hooks scratch your paint.

XLMoto Slipstream backpack, for a tenner, just can’t be beaten. https://www.xlmoto.co.uk/xlmoto-sli...oEKPLaKF0L8x9vXV00xoCs_0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Ridiculously good value for money and so comfortable to use you don’t know you’ve got it on.
