Went to pick up my meds on Friday, roads around here in Eastbourne were packed, wife went out for her run yesterday morning, promenade packed like it’s a holiday full of fuckin’ day trippers!! My 86 year old Mums having to self isolate in her flat along with the rest of the residents, can’t have any visitors (not happy cause it’s Mothrts day) And these SELFISH WANKERS are all wandering around in groups like it’s a feckin’ holiday resort!! Why can’t people connect a couple of simple dots Eastbourne is full of Old People, therefore high risk area, NHS already overstretched, With a little bit of thought, no major problem, with no thought, absolute carnage
Brilliant idea, you ought to start a petition on the government site, I'm sure that it would soon pass the 100,000 signitures required for debate, and then I can't imagine any politician would dare refuse it.
Have to say that the government in Sweden is doing a fantastic job at the moment, and all parties is acting grown-up. The PM and and authorities do listen to what the experts have to say and are following their advice. Sure, some has lost the plot and started hoarding bog-roll but people are people, some are following the heard without thinking and not acting rational. In Sweden some say "Nothing bad that doesn't bring good things with it" and I'm a soul believer in that.
