Hi Rosser and welcome to the forum sounds like choke issue should fix now as Calamity indicated and you have 100% battery charge. Post a bike pic when you can, cheers
Agreed, and when you’ve sorted out the choke,it would be worth checking that the carbs are balanced, which is a simple operation,if you have a Haynes.
Hi Mate & Welcome, as normal I am late to the party and you have already had sound advise, hope it works out!
Embarrassment level low but i have a new issue which i will post elsewhere in this forum. keep your eyes peeeeeeeled
Glad you are still around Rosser, you will understand a lot of people visit forums like ours to get advice and don't have the decency to tell if it helped fix their problem, thus adding to the collective knowledge. So before we help with the new issue; are the original ones the same, worse or better/fixed?
Rosser Welcome to the family mate. Just have a sit down and a cuppa then look at it through fresh eyes. You will always get piss takers here but as said it's all in fun so don't take it to seriously. They all want to get you back on the road with the rest of us asylum members. Regards Joe.
So the battery charged up and it starts now, but basically without the choke. It's pretty nice in DC so actual cold cold starting isnt an issue. the spring on the choke isnt on it anymore but i can still pull it out a little and it works a little bit. i bascially just have to give it some gas to keep it going or start riding pretty quick after i start it so the engine wont stutter. Here are some pics of her though, i believe someone asked. Also i just posted in the tech forum regarding an oil leak after installing a crash bar. So if you find that and can have a look, any thoughts would be appreciated. Blessings to all!!!
That's a nice looking bike you have, as you have found out Brit humour is legendary but help is always at hand.
