    Hello Everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself and say thank you to all you assisted me, unknowingly, over the last couple of months as I deliberated my next new bike purchasing decision. Today I plunked down a deposit on a new 2020 Triumph Street Triple R and....OMG...am I so excited. She won't ship to my dealer for another few weeks or so. I test rode the RS model this morning and wow, what a bike.

I hope that someday soon I will be contribute and help as much as all of you all have helped me. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and the kind words. It is most appreciated. Now I have to decide if I want my Street Triple in Sapphire Black or Polar Ice Matte.

I have never owned a bike with a matte paint finish. For those that have and/or do, any and all feedback as to the care and durability of this option is greatly welcomed.

Just water and car shampoo, dry with chamois leather :cool: don't use polish or T cut or you'll shine the matte, quick wipe down can be done with baby wipes ;);)
Had my matte black Aprilia 18 years and still matte, and it gets cleaned at least twice a year :p:p

@Helmut Visor, thank you. Sounds pretty simple. Do you ever apply a coat of wax or is that not needed as well?
