The statement is likely to have come from the American corporation and just copied for GB issue. Does make you wonder why they did not correct the spelling though don’t it?

Driving up to Newcastle this morning on the A1M I spot a speed safety camera van. Ok what’s wrong with that I hear you ask? Well if anyone is familiar with this bit of road between junctions 51 and 50 next to the south bound lane runs a road parallel seperated by a high grass verge. The van is on the neighbouring road behind the bank with the cameras on the roof on stalks peaking over the verge. The van isn’t visible from the A1M, oh and 8:30 in the morning too!!

i’ve never had a problem remembering which side of the road to drive on....

    HOWEVER....

because working in Europe I was always hopping in and out of the line vans, when coming back to this country I would hop into the car, sit for a second, and then get back out and go around to the driver’s side....

I honeymooned in Gozo (Marsalforn) but I reckon the buildings have quadrupled since then......and there were virtually no boats moored in the bay. They were all in the tiny harbour.

When a chugger steps in front of me with their hand outstretched it does get my back up
Usually a charity with a similar but not same name to a well known charity and I wonder how much goes to the end beneficiary
There was a week or so in Aylesbury when vision for children or similar were camped out in the high street, when I was at my work computer I looked them up on the charity commission website and see their directors get a nice 6 figure salary, then you look at what other charities they are involved with and there could be another 5 or 6 charities they are also getting a tidy payment from, the young lass that stopped me the next day seemed quite disheartened when I told her this as they were volunteering their time while the directors are taking in hundreds of thousands.
So I have a single charity I will donate to and only that, which is Wycombe hospital scan appeal which have just installed their latest scanner
