I am from the northern of the Netherlands and have nearly all my life ridden on British bikes. It started in 1991 with a Trident750, in 2000 replaced by a Bonneville790 and in 2004 the Bonnie made place for a Thruxton900. Currently 1 have 2 Triumph's in the barn, 1x Trident750 1992 en 1x Trophy900 1993 I also own a BSA Goldstar DBD34 with a new ABSAF engine, this bike is not registerd for public roads and i use the Goldie for roadracing in the Netherlands ans sometimes in Germany. And even an Italian bike is in the barn, an MV Agusta125cc 1964 fourstroke racebike. My daughter Marieke is riding the little bike for roadracing with classic bikes in the Netherlands. See the pictures of the Goldie and MV

Hi Peter, Welcome to the forum. I met a fella in the Isle of man years ago on a ratty old DBD34. He had an old mac on, a pair of desert wellies, and a pudding basin hat. The bike hadn't been cleaned in yonks, and had a bath plug still on the chain in the bell mouth for a choke. But it went like flicked snot, non of us could keep up with him. He said his main pleasure was waiting for a big Jap 4 to pull along side, then watch him try and keep up. yours looks and absolute Beaut and the MV.
