Logged out when going to "Recent Posts"

When I try to access recent posts via the link at the top of the page I get logged out.

Anyone else having this problem?

 

Using the "Recent Posts" on the 'toolbar' chucks me out every time, always has. I can access "Recent posts", but when I then want to go for example Forums, I find I am logged out.
If I use the "Members" tab on the same bar, it works perfectly, so I don't know why the "Recent posts" tab is so problematic

However if I use the "New posts' tab I never have any probs.

It just worked OK for me now ??? Five mins ago it chucked me off?????

 

It's a conspiracy. It's still throwing me out....

Interestingly this thread is not showing in either new posts or recent posts...

 

Couple of things Dick :
Assuming you are logged in:
1. This won't show is your 'New Posts' list as you've already looked at it;

2. May also apply to the "Recent Posts" list.

I can't help but wonder if the key to this issue is to ensure that when you log-in you ensure that the 'keep me logged in' tick box is ticked. It's a 'cookie' so you need to ensure that your browser allows cookies for this site.

 

Very possibly a cookie issue Dave. I seem to remember stopping cookies at some point. It's probably still in place!

 

Hi Dick, I'm not 100% sure but I think most browsers allow you to select cookies oui ou non - site by site.

It seems I am remembering cookies so it's not that. In fact there hundreds of the things! It's an irritation not a big deal. I'll just remember not to log in until I want to post something.

Thanks for the comments on Amokopera. Very much appreciated as so much work has gone into it over the years it's always good to get positive feedback. It's still open for some theatre director to make it real

 

When trying to set up a new post, I am finding it difficult to find the correct page to get started. It seems it always ask me for members to post to and will not Post Reply. PITA really....

Anyway HT, you tried Taylor's Ram Tam by any chance? It's like op taste and colour with less alcohol so plenty can be drunk, oh and it's from uuuuup North too!!
