I must say, to the risk of derision, that you are equally delusional in your assertations if you think that these people are not victims of hate crime. You may disagree with their lifestyle and choices they make, but to be physically attacked for it is unacceptable behaviour... and I’ve seen that happen. If, as you presume, it stems from mental illness, then being attacked for it is even worse! That would be like punching someone in the head for having diabetes!
While taking a nap @ 5:00 my wife went out walking, ranting and exhbiting odd behavior, christian neighbor across the street video taped her and called the cops, and did not offer to extend any help. She went to comcare, who sent her to St. Joe hospital which has a physc. Ward They have her under physciatric observation tonight. My guess is, since she didn't show up for the court ordered 90 day post treatments, after her last release it won't go so well. Maybe this time she will seak regular treatment.

I can only offer my best wished and hope that it works out for you and your wife. I can't imagine the stress and worry. You need good, supportive neighbours, but it sounds like your Christian neighbour isn't practicing his teaching.
